CONSCIOUS CONTRACTING NEWS

My Birth Certificate Has Some Explaining to Do.

Nov 02, 2026

I was born on November 26.

But according to my birth certificate, the government didn't get around to registering that little event until December 5.

NINE DAYS LATER!

The Three Wise Men managed to follow a STAR across the desert, find a baby without an address or GPS, and still show up bearing gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

The STATE had doctors, nurses, a hospital full of witnesses, and an entire department dedicated to registering births.

And somehow, the paperwork took NINE DAYS.

But the nine-day delay isn't even the strangest part.

Have you ever actually READ your birth certificate?

I mean really read the thing.

Why does it ask for your mother's MAIDEN name?

Did she abandon the family somewhere between contractions? Did Dad get voted off the island? Was there a surprise divorce during delivery?

And why is the REGISTRAR'S signature on the certified birth certificate?

Was the registrar in the delivery room? Did they cut the cord? Help my mother push?

Nope.

Doctors and nurses witness BIRTHS.

Registrars REGISTER legal records and documents, including certificates of title.

And speaking of BIRTHS and TITLES...

Minnesota has an actual court rule, Rule 220 — Birth Certificates, tucked into its procedures for registered land TITLES.

A BIRTH certificate showing up in the rules governing TITLE records?

Well, isn't that interesting?

Don't take my word for it. Read Rule 220 yourself.

My parents gave me a Name. The STATE gave me a number.

I was BORN on November 26, and that very day my parents gave me a Name.

My mother had just gone through the minor inconvenience of pushing an entire HUMAN BEING out of her body and into the world.

And somehow, even in her exhaustion, my parents managed to give me something special.

A given Name. GIVEN, as in a GIFT.

A family Name, chosen with thought, family history, and LOVE.

Sweet, right?

Well, nine days later, the STATE took that beautiful gift, ran it through the government paperwork machine, sucked the LIFE right out of it, hit CAPS LOCK, and slapped a registration number on it.

My parents gave a living baby a Name. The STATE gave a lifeless paper clone a NUMBER.

I'm surprised my birth certificate doesn't say "Scan here for price." 😂

Now think about how RIDICULOUS this gets.

That registered NAME has the same letters as mine, but no heartbeat. No lungs. No personality. It has never laughed, cried, fallen in love, or kept its mother awake at 3 AM.

You couldn't find a pulse on it with a stethoscope and a search warrant.

But BOY, can it accumulate paperwork!

And somehow, we've gotten so accustomed to identifying ourselves through government documents that we barely question the distinction between the living being and the numbered record.

If my birth certificate IS ME, then what happens when I order three certified copies?

Do I suddenly have three identical sisters?

Can I send one to jury duty, another to the DMV, and keep the third home to do the laundry? 😂

Here's what I find telling.

For NINE WHOLE DAYS, I existed without that registered NAME.

I was already alive, making noise, filling diapers, and exercising my God-given right to keep my mother awake at 3 AM.

Then, on December 5, along came the STATE's numbered paper record.

One of us needed diapers. The other needed a filing cabinet. 😂

The term ENS LEGIS means an entity of law. It's a concept I explore when examining legal identities, records, and the capacities in which we act.

A birth certificate is a legal record documenting a birth. It isn't the living being whose birth it records.

And yet, slap a number next to a NAME on an official certificate, add a government seal, and suddenly people confuse the paperwork with the living being.

Try putting a registration number in a car seat and taking it home from the hospital. 😂

What does any of this have to do with a Private Trust?

If you're like most freedom seekers who eventually find their way to Conscious Contracting, you already recognize that there's more to understanding your affairs than simply accepting the paperwork handed to you.

You want to understand the NAME appearing on your contracts, property records, and accounts. You want to understand the capacity in which you're acting, the agreements you've entered, and the structures available to you.

And perhaps most importantly, you want to understand how to take responsibility for those arrangements instead of leaving everything to assumption.

That's part of why I created Titan Trust Strategy.

Because understanding the difference between a living being and a legal record is one conversation. Understanding how to establish and administer your own private trust structures is where we start applying the principles of conscious contracting.

The Titan Trust Strategy teaches the foundational structures that work together to support self-governance, private stewardship, and family estate planning.

I don't sell freedom. I sell tools and training.

What you choose to build with them is your responsibility.

And since my actual birthday falls on Thanksgiving this year, I'm celebrating TWO birthdays with a special gift for my Conscious Contracting community.
