The wild part isn’t just getting the passport.

The wild part isn’t just getting the passport.
The wild part is realizing you don’t have to move through every administrative process on autopilot.
Most people complete forms, check boxes, and accept the default without ever asking:
What record am I creating?
What information is being submitted?
What will remain in the official file?
That question is what drew me into the American National Passport process in the first place.
Not simply travel.
Not simply obtaining another document.
But understanding how a person can intentionally submit supporting documentation and create an administrative record rather than relying only on assumptions.
Later, I requested a certified copy of the Department of State passport file so I could review what had been submitted, retained, and certified.
That is why comment-section arguments don’t interest me very much. 😄
There is a major difference between:
talking about a record
and
actually creating and reviewing the record.
Documentation matters.
Process matters.
And understanding what becomes part of an official file matters.
